In Is Christianity Good for You?, David Fontana, a leading psychologist of religion, examines Christianity not only as a faith but as a psychological and moral framework for personal and collective health.
Drawing on his experience as both scientist and believer, Fontana discusses:
The relationship between faith and mental health
The effects of Christian values on personal growth and ethics
How modern psychology can deepen our understanding of prayer, forgiveness, and compassion
Christianity’s continuing relevance in a pluralistic and secular age
Written with balance and insight, this book invites both believers and sceptics to consider how religion — and Christianity in particular — contributes to meaning, resilience, and the flourishing of the soul.
