The Essence of Yoga brings together a series of authoritative essays that explore the historical and philosophical development of yoga. Beginning with the earliest Vedic traditions, the contributors examine the evolution of yogic thought through the Upanishads, classical yoga, Tantra, and its adaptation in modern times. Blending academic insight with spiritual depth, this book provides readers with a clear and comprehensive understanding of yoga as both philosophy and practice.
