Alan examines the miracle stories in the Gospels in the context of psychical research. He argues that nothing is inherently contradicted, incompatible, or impossible about them in light of the data accumulated since 1882.
 
Alan Murdie is a barrister who has investigated numerous reports of hauntings and poltergeists in Britain and abroad. He is chairman of the Ghost Club and a Council member of the Society for Psychical Research. He writes and broadcasts extensively and writes a monthly column on ghosts for Fortean Times.
