About the Author

Walter Wink (1935–2012) was an influential biblical scholar, theologian, and activist. Best known for his Powers trilogy (Naming the Powers, Unmasking the Powers, Engaging the Powers), he wrote extensively on scripture, nonviolence, and social transformation. His works continue to shape contemporary Christian thought and practice.
